New factory - "Green" technology
Vietrosco would like to thank all customers around the world for their supports and corporations through all the years. Because of this, the company finally had the confidence and power to establish a brand new factory in Vinh Loc industrial zone, Ho Chi Minh City. This factory, about 3000 square meters large located on a 5000 square meters land, has the capacity to produce averagely 10 tons of aquatic products daily with modern technology and a team of about 400 skilled workers. More importantly, beside modern machines and equipment, Vietrosco has also installed a new technology called “green” technology that plays an important role in protecting the environment.
Urgent! Protect our environment
Many of fishery factories in Vietnam and in other countries have been using a group of substances called HCFC (Hydrochlorofluorocarbon), which is mainly R22 in refrigeration system. R22 (Chlorodifluoromethane), when emitting to the air, is proved to be very harmful gas to the ozone. It has the tendency to decrease the ozone layers and that will lead to skin disease and global warming.
European Union and many developed countries in the world have been trying to avoid using R22 according to EU regulation 2037/2000. This substance will be completely banned by the end of 2014. However, this regulation states that developing countries are allowed to use R22 but only within limitation and will have to completely stop using by the year 2040.
“Clean” gas NH3
Soon recognizing HCFC’s negative effects and the responsibility in protecting human health and environment from those, Vietrosco immediately decided to take action by replacing the old refrigeration system that used R22 by a brand new system which uses NH3, also known as the “clean” gas.
NH3 is a colorless compound of Nitrogen and Hydrogen with a specific scent of amonia and is proved to be harmless. There are many advantages to using NH3 in refrigeration system. For example:

- It can always be produced from recycled clean energy source such as Hydro electric, and natural energy sources such as solar and wind power.
- NH3 does not emit Carbon Dioxide and other toxic gases. Therefore, it does not harm the ozone layers.
- Safety
- Amonia does not stand for any long term toxic to cellular biology.
- It does not create fire explosion like gasoline or some other natural gas.

- Due to its evaporation characteristic, NH3 is very useful in refrigeration technology.
- NH3 is an inorganic chemical that is widely produced as a part of the world energy.

- LED light is less exothermic than other normal lights because it releases less heat to the environment. As a result, it is a better choice for the environment.
- LED light has longer durability than normal lights do.
- Due to its hardness, LED light is not easily broken.
- Its small size provides flexibility in designing and installing.
- LED light has a better light focus ability.
